I participated in the OYFA's "Lakas is Strength" 5K. The proceeds are split between two charities, Relay for Life and the HeCares Foundation, which benefits poorer children in the Philippines. The race started and ended at nameless field. I got 3rd place for the girls, so as a prize I got a free Ragged Mountain running shirt. I also won a raffle to a restaurant. The race was also really well organized. I had a great time!
